SIMPLIFIED DENTAL CARE
A GENTLE APPROACH
No scary needles or drills
Great with kids!
We teach the A.R.T. (Atraumatic Restorative Treatment) technique of treating decayed teeth. It is growing in popularity globally and endorsed by the W.H.O.
A.R.T. is a slow and gentle technique that is well tolerated by the most fearful of patients. It is more comfortable than standard techniques. No injections or powered drills are needed. Young children do very well with it.
A.R.T. Is...
Inexpensive – no dental unit, suction, compressor, electricity, or
plumbing required
Simple and relatively easy to learn.
Practical for international travel
Portable – ideal for remote areas - you can literally carry your
clinic in a backpack.
No sophisticated equipment
Hike to remote areas

“I can do all things through Christ...” Phil. 4:13
ALL YOU NEED IS A CARING HEART...
AND A LITTLE HARD WORK
IS THIS PROGRAM RECOGNIZED?
There are legal issues related with any medical or dental ministry - the extent of which varies according to country, region, and local. We have served in Asia, Africa, and Latin America with few difficulties. We normally interact with local health and municipal leaders. Locals know us personally and directly benefit from our services. Getting their support is easier and usually all that is needed. The key is to conduct ourselves professionally; making public relations, patient safety, and compassionate care the priority.
We recommend you contact health care ministries in your area. You may learn much and be invited to partner with them. Assure yourself that you will be able to use this skill in your field of service.
